Although pitching to editors for the museum resulted in media placements for many years, one special media relations campaign included publicizing the design, implementation, and grand opening of a new butterfly exhibit. This science-based exhibit for children needed a full media campaign, including planning and implementation of a media preview event, grand opening event, crisis plan development, PR timeline and PR implementation, and hundreds of media placements in local, regional, and national outlets. In total, the client garnered 1,750 media placements over four years through these PR efforts.
